This is where you can find out the latest news about Windows Draw.

As of November 1998, Windows Draw is no longer being disributed by Micrografx.  The product is now in the Sierra Home line of products. All support issues should now be directed to Sierra Home.

Versions and Availability:
Windows Draw 6 Premeire Edition Print Studio was the last version that was produced and sold under the Windows Draw 6 Premier Edition Print Studioname of Micrografx. It included Windows Draw 6, Photo Magic, Media Manager, and Instant 3D.

Complete Publisher 99 is the latest version of Windows Draw. This version, although developed by Micrografx, was briefly distributed by Sierra Home before being discontinued. It included Windows Draw 7, Photo Magic, Media Manager, and Instant 3D.

What’s new in Complete Publisher ‘99?

  • GrafxText - lets you create intersting 3D text effects.
  • Guidelines
  • More text formatting options including justified text, vertical spacing, better character and line spacing, paragraph spacing, margins, and column text.
  • Page manager in addition to the layer manager.
  • Search for projects in the project catalog.

Fixes:

  • Export to WMF has been improved
  • Business card layout cutting off the bottom of the last two cards on a page has been fixed.

As of August 1999, it appears that Sierra is no longer promoting or supporting Complete Publisher. For the latest information on purchasing Windows Draw, see Whatever Happened to Windows Draw from About.com’s Graphics Software site.
