Small Margin Cards
Pencil
I found a way to get the smallest margin possible on a 1/4 size card. I have a Canon 620 and this printer has a very small top margin (about 1/8") but it still has a 1/2" bottom margin.  What I started doing is making all my 1/4 size cards on the "Half-Page, Two-Up" template (from the opening screen you choose blank page, then greeting card, and it is toward the end of the list). But rather than making two cards per page, I only make one using the first template and I leave the second smileyone blank.  I ignore the printer boundaries on this one because I know I can go all the way to the bottom edge, 1/8" from the top and 1/4" from the left or right edge of the paper. The margins would be the same for the inside of the card.

I print my card on both sides of the cardstock, then I have room to turn the paper around and print another card... or I just cut the paper in half and save the second half for the next time I am making a card this size.  By turning the paper around and doing my second card I can avoid the 1/2" bottom margin of my printer. Also, if I trim the top 1/8" and the 1/4" margin off the front flap on the card after printing I can have the look of a full bleed... then I put something pretty along the inside edge that extends beyond the front flap.
