The files on this site were generously contributed by many Windows Draw users for the benefit of other Windows Draw users. If you do not own Windows Draw or Complete Publisher by Sierra, you will not be able to use these files. I'm sorry, but I cannot fulfill requests to convert files, or print and mail template files to individuals. If you are interested in purchasing the software, you'll find more information on the News page.

How to use the templates in Draw:
The templates on this site are zipped for easier downloading. You will need a program to unzip them such as Winzip, Drag & Zip, or PKzip. If you do not know how to unzip, please consult the help file for your particular program.
Once the files have been unzipped you can open them in Draw by double-clicking the files icon. Keep in mind that if you open a template this way, you have to be careful to use SAVE AS after you make any changes if you don't want the original template to be overwritten.
If you want the template to be available when you click Project Wizards and then templates, you need to put it in X:\Micrografx\Windows Draw\Projects\MyTemps where “X” is the drive where you have Draw installed. When you open a template this way, the first time you save it it will automatically revert to SAVE AS so you don't have to worry about overwriting the original template.
Another suggestion for saving the templates: Double-click the .drt template to open it in Draw. Now, before you modify it at all (unless you WANT to make alterations to it first), go to File/Save As Template. The advantage of this method becomes clear in the ensuing dialog, which allows you to choose one of Draws categories to save your template under (or to create your own new category). You can also assign a name and description to the template (or alter the existing ones). It will thenceforth show up in the corresponding category in the Project Wizard with your name and description. The original file is no longer needed then, since a copy is placed in the relevant Draw Project folder.
